What is The HRT Club? A pharmacy membership, not a clinic

The HRT Club is a pharmacy membership with a directory of HRT prescribers. It is not a telehealth clinic. It does not employ doctors, write prescriptions or give medical care.

What you pay for is access. Members fill their HRT prescriptions at lower cash prices through the club's partner pharmacy, Transition Pharmacy Services. Anyone can also search its directory of more than 3,000 HRT prescribers across the US, many with telehealth options.

The drugs are FDA-approved brands and generics, bought directly from the makers. The HRT Club does not sell compounded hormones, which are custom mixes made by a pharmacy.

How much does The HRT Club cost?

The membership itself is cheap. The drugs, shipping and any doctor visit are paid on top. There are three plans, plus an option for women who still need a prescriber.

• Guest, free: you can use the prescriber directory. You can also fill prescriptions, but at the retail price. Shipping is $10 per order.
• Monthly member, $12 a month: you get the member drug prices. There is no minimum commitment. Shipping is still $10 per order.
• Annual member, $99 a year: that works out to about $8 a month. You get the same member prices, plus free shipping on orders of $50 or more. You also get an extra 10% off when you order 3 or more packs of the same drug.
• Member plus a telehealth partner: the membership, plus a separate visit fee paid to the partner telehealth service.

The annual plan is the better deal if you plan to stay a year. It saves $45 compared with paying monthly. The monthly plan is the way to test your own drug prices first.

How much can you save on HRT drugs with The HRT Club?

Savings depend on the drug. The club says members save up to 90% compared with its guest prices. Here are a few member prices from its site in October 2026.

• Generic progesterone, 200 mg, 30 capsules: $15, against $135 at the guest price.
• Estradiol patch, box of 8: $55, against about $100 at the guest price.
• EstroGel estradiol gel, one canister: $38.
• Generic estradiol tablets, 30 tablets: $10, against $12. Cheap generics barely move.

One progesterone refill can cover more than a year of the annual fee. A cheap generic tablet will not. That is why your own drug list decides whether The HRT Club pays off.

How The HRT Club works, step by step

• Step 1, get a prescription. Bring one from your OB-GYN, your primary care doctor or a telehealth service. You can also find a prescriber in the club's directory, or book a partner telehealth visit.
• Step 2, send it to the partner pharmacy. Your prescriber sends the prescription to Transition Pharmacy Services. You pay the member price, or the retail price as a guest.
• Step 3, get it by mail. Orders take 1–3 business days to process. Shipping then takes up to about a week, depending on the method you choose.

Automatic refills are available for most drugs. The club notifies you 7 days before each refill, so you can change it. The fee does not cover the drugs themselves, shipping, lab tests or taxes.

Who is The HRT Club right for?

It fits best if a doctor already manages your HRT and you pay cash at the pharmacy. The savings on one or two branded or pricey prescriptions usually cover the yearly fee.

It also helps if you are new to HRT. You can find a menopause-aware prescriber in the free directory. Once you have a plan, you fill it at member prices.

It is a weaker fit if you want full medical care. That means regular check-ins, dose changes, lab follow-up and a care team that answers you. For that, a service like Alloy or Midi Health is the right model.

It is also a weak fit if your insurance already covers your HRT with a low copay. Your copay is your share of the price at the pharmacy.

What if you don't have a prescriber yet?

The HRT Club partners with several telehealth services that know HRT. It does not name them on its site. Their visits cost extra, on top of the membership.

Your medical care then comes from that partner's clinicians, not from The HRT Club. You can also use the free directory to find a local prescriber, and many of them offer telehealth visits.

Can you cancel, and can you use insurance or an HSA?

• Cancelling: you can cancel any time, but there are no refunds. A monthly plan ends the following month. An annual plan ends on your membership anniversary date.
• Switching plans: a monthly member can move to the annual plan at any time. An annual member cannot switch down to monthly or guest until the year ends.
• Insurance: The HRT Club does not work with insurance. Compare its member price with your usual copay. Then use whichever is lower for each drug.
• HSA or FSA: most of its drugs can be paid with a health savings account or flexible spending account. The membership fee itself cannot.

Is The HRT Club legit? What to check before you join

The HRT Club posts its plans and member drug prices openly. It names its partner pharmacy, and its drugs are FDA-approved. Those are good signs for a young company.

Few independent reviews exist yet, because the club is new. Its Trustpilot page has no reviews so far. That is a reason to start small, not a red flag.

Before you pay, look up the member price of each drug on your plan. If the savings beat your current cost, try the monthly plan first. Move to the annual plan once you know it works for you.
