Alloy does not require or arrange lab tests for standard hormone therapy. Its doctors prescribe from your symptoms and health history. That matches mainstream menopause guidance, because hormone levels swing too much to guide the dose. If you want lab-checked dosing, choose a provider that builds labs into its plan.
Alloy does not list testosterone among its treatments. If testosterone is what you want, Fountain offers it when its clinician finds it appropriate.
Does Alloy bill monthly or quarterly?
Quarterly, for hormone products. Each one ships as a 3-month supply. Your card is charged once for those three months. So the $100 patch price is a monthly average. What shows on your statement is $300 every three months for the patch. Anything else you take adds its own 3-month charge.
Each product runs as its own subscription. You can cancel or pause shipments from your account. Alloy's terms ask for the request at least five business days before the next shipment processes.
Refunds are narrow. Alloy's terms allow a refund only on the first shipment of each product. You have to ask within 30 days of receiving it. Later shipments of the same product cannot be refunded. Consultation, membership and service fees are never refunded. So treat your first 3-month box as the real trial.
Does Alloy take insurance, or is it cash-pay only?
Cash-pay only. Alloy does not bill insurance. Alloy says many women get money back from a PPO plan afterward by sending in an itemized receipt. A PPO is a plan that pays part of the cost even outside its network. If using your PPO matters most, Midi Health is the closer match. It is in-network with most PPO plans for menopause visits.

How much is the Alloy GLP-1 program?
Alloy also runs a weight program called Alloy Weight Care. It prescribes GLP-1 medicines, the weekly shots and daily pills that curb appetite. It works differently from the hormone side. You pay a $99 monthly fee, then the medicine on top. The fee covers messaging with your doctor, check-ins, side-effect help and dose changes.

These are starting prices. Alloy does not publish its prices for higher doses. The $99 fee stays the same whatever your dose.
Compounded medicines are mixed to order by a pharmacy and are not FDA-approved. Alloy does not offer them in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Nevada or DC. In Louisiana and Mississippi, it does not offer Weight Care at all.
New Weight Care members can take $50 off the first month's fee with code STARTGLP1. The fee renews each month until you cancel. Alloy's terms ask you to cancel at least seven days before the period ends. Brand-name medicine shipped by its maker, such as LillyDirect, cannot be refunded by Alloy.
What does a full year of Alloy cost?
Two things move the yearly total. The first year includes the one-time consult. Adding a GLP-1 medicine raises it a lot.

The number is not the whole trade-off. Winona can cost less than Alloy if one cream or a single product fits you. Its patch-plus-progesterone pairing costs more. Midi Health can be much cheaper if your PPO plan is in-network. It can cost more if your plan isn't. Fountain folds visits and medicine into one price, which suits you if one predictable number matters most.
Is Alloy worth the price?
For many women, yes. Alloy gives you menopause-specialized doctors with no membership fee stacked on your medicine. Most hormone plans land between about $755 and $1,525 a year. That is a fair price for supervised hormone therapy, compared with paying a specialist out of pocket.
Know the friction before you check out. The patch bills in $300 chunks each quarter. Refunds cover only your first shipment of each product.
